Vote for the most terrible thing that can happen online.

I just wrote an 800 word long blog on my Xanga and just before I published, I accidentally erased the entire thing. So I decided to write this instead.

10 Terrible things that could happen online:

1. Your account gets hacked. The classic one.

2. You accidentally delete something that you spend so much time creating. And there is no undo button. This is what happened with me just now.

3. You publish something that may be a bit edgy. WITHOUT PROTECTING IT.

4. On msn, you accidentally say the wrong thing to the wrong person. For instance, you type “I know, Caroline is such a douche bag” to Caroline and SEND it by mistake. 

5. On facebook, you forget to tag someone on your note that was meant to show your everlasting friendship with that someone.

6. You publish something that’s not that much of an importance to you. But then… it’s pretty important regarding your friend’s ex-boyfriend’s brother’s secret boyfriend.

7. You leave a comment on someone’s post, forgetting that she stole your boyfriend and you’ve been fighting with her for the past month and a half.

8. You stalk your crush without knowing that he/she can track you down and trace where you’ve been (footprints on Xanga, for instance).

9. Or, you publish your undying desire for that crush and he/she reads it.

10. Somehow, Facebook is down, MSN is down, Xanga is down, Tumblr is down, Twitter is down… ALL AT THE SAME TIME. Your life is over.
